About BookSourcer
BookSourcer started in 2017 in Las Vegas as a simple way to find a good home for books people no longer wanted. It is growing into a national network that connects people with local book resellers, one ZIP code at a time.
Our mission
Keep as many books as possible out of landfills, put them back in readers' hands, and help people learn.
How it works
You enter your ZIP code and tell us what you have: books, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays or video games. We send your request to the local reseller who covers your ZIP code, and they contact you to buy the items or collect them.
Each ZIP code has one reseller, so your request goes to one person who wants it, not to a crowd.
Where we are today
Las Vegas is live now. We are inviting local used-book resellers in other cities to claim their ZIP codes. If there is no reseller for your ZIP code yet, we will let you know when one joins.
In Las Vegas, we also donate books to the community, including children's books.
