Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Typically we pay about $1 to $2 per book for the average soft cover or hard cover book. For CDs, it’s about $1. For newer college textbooks, we will pay top dollar, but they must be recent. No one wants the 2nd edition of a textbook that is on its 11th revision.
If you have a few hundred books or more, we may be able to come to you. Simply call or email us and we can work out the arrangements. However if you only have a few books to get rid of, we may first ask you for digital pictures of the books to make sure it’s worth both of our times and efforts.
You can try to sell books that we cannot use elsewhere or you can donate them to a non-profit.
We are mostly interested in non-fiction in all types of subjects.
Art, cookbooks, history, religion, science, edication, astrology, crafts, sports, textbooks are only just a few of the types we routinely buy. We also buy some fiction titles as well. These would mainly be hard covers and older fiction titles from the 1940s to the 1970s.
We do not accept books with water damage or stains. Your books should be clean and in good condition. Highlighting and underlining are undesirable, but depending on the subject matter, may be still be sell-able.
We do not buy Time-Life Series, encyclopedias, advance readers’ copies, book club versions, National Geographic book or mass-market-fiction paperbacks.
